Unicum Riserva is a prestigious herbal liqueur from the well-known Hungarian distillery Zwack. This exceptional liqueur is made according to a secret recipe that includes more than 40 different herbs and spices.
Unicum Riserva goes through a unique two-phase maturation. First, the liqueur is stored in an 80-year-old oak barrel in the Zwack cellars, where it acquires its characteristic bitter taste and dark color, known as "black honey". It is then transferred to barrels of Tokaj wine Aszú, where it acquires sweeter and fruity notes. This process adds complex aromas of dried fruit, apricots and mint, creating a delicate yet rich taste.
