Turquoise Bay Reserve Premium Amber is the result of a unique production process that begins with the selection of the highest quality molasses from sugar cane. After fermentation and distillation, the rum is aged in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. These barrels give the rum subtle notes of vanilla, caramel and oak. Maturation takes place on the island of Mauritius, where the tropical climate contributes to a faster and more intense development of flavors. The result is a rum that offers a rich and balanced flavor profile, with subtle notes of tropical fruit, honey and spice.
