Talisker Storm is dark and smoky - it's the rougher member of the Talisker family, with notes of wood and spice that take you straight to the heart of a storm at sea. The color resembles gold. The aroma is fresh, clean and growing in complexity like a storm. Sweet malt with ripe red berry fruit gives way to smoke and a burst of spice. The taste is soft and rich, then very spicy. A clean, tongue-coating sweetness combines with a nutty smoke to contain those spicy notes. At the end, it is drier with a long-lasting smooth aftertaste, in which you can feel lightly burnt peat coals.
