The unique single malt whiskey Talisker Select Reserve is also associated with the cult series Games of Thrones. This Scotch whiskey has a golden-copper color that was given to it by the casks in which it matured (American tanned bourbon casks). Talisker Select reserve pays tribute to the Greyjoy family, who live on the Iron Islands and their motto is: "What is dead cannot die". Talisker is a distillery on the Isle of Skye, making for a perfect pairing with House Greyjoy. The aroma features notes of dry black smoke and dark chocolate. Salted caramel, pepper and chili stand out in taste. The finish is long and complex with hints of fruitcake and black pepper.
