Yamazaki 12 Year Old first entered the market in 1984 and was the first Japanese single malt whiskey to be sold.
Aroma: balanced body with plenty of nutty oils and flavor, pleasant floral character with some tropical fruit and spicy notes
Palate: smooth and delicate with well-balanced sweetness and hints of winter spice. Citrus hints are discernible, developing promisingly with more tropical fruit notes and a small amount of rum.
Finish: medium long, with fruity overtones
