Smokehead Rum Riot is a special edition Islay single malt Scotch whiskey aged in Caribbean rum casks. This combination gives the whiskey a unique flavor profile that combines traditional peat and smoky notes with the complex sweetness of rum casks.
Smell: Intense aroma of peat, which is complemented by sweet tones of caramel, vanilla and tropical fruits. The aroma also contains subtle hints of oak and spices.
Taste: Full and robust taste with strong notes of smoke, black pepper and bitter caramel. The taste is balanced by the sweet and fruity elements of the rum barrels, which bring notes of pineapple and bananas.
