Relicario Peated Finish is a unique rum that brings something new and exciting to the rum world. This premium rum combines traditional Caribbean craftsmanship with a subtle hint of peated whiskey to create an exceptional flavor profile that will appeal to even the most discerning connoisseur.
Relicario Peated Finish begins its story as a traditional Caribbean rum, made from the highest quality sugar cane molasses. After distillation, the rum is aged in carefully selected American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. After this initial maturation, the rum is transferred to casks that previously stored peat whiskey from Scotland. This final maturation process gives the rum a subtle touch of peat smoke, which enriches its complex flavor profile with new and unusual notes. The result is a rum with rich aromas of vanilla, caramel, dried fruit and subtle smoky accents.
