Redbreast comes from the Midleton Distillery in County Cork, one of the most famous and respected distilleries in Ireland. The Redbreast brand has a long and rich history that dates back to the beginning of the 20th century. Redbreast 15-Year-Old was originally launched as a limited edition, but its popularity has made it a permanent offering.
This whiskey is made from a blend of malted and unmalted barley and distilled in traditional copper stills. Redbreast 15-Year-Old is aged for at least 15 years in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, which gives it exceptional depth and complexity of flavors.
Aroma : Intense and complex with rich notes of dried fruit, dark chocolate, walnuts, spices and a subtle hint of sherry.
Taste : Full and robust taste with layers of honey, ripe apples, pears, prunes and citrus. Spices and sweet notes of sherry are harmoniously balanced with subtle woody notes.
Aftertaste : Long and satisfying aftertaste with lingering notes of fruit, spices and soft oak.
