Quinta do Tedo Ruby Port is a dynamic and youthful port wine that captures the essence of its high quality grapes from the Douro Valley in Portugal. This Ruby Port is typically aged for 3 to 4 years in large neutral oak casks, which helps it maintain its rich dark color and robust red and black fruit flavors along with a hint of spice.

Grapes such as Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz, grown on schist soil in a Mediterranean climate, are used for this port. This terroir contributes to the distinctive character of the wine, emphasizing its depth and complexity. The production process involves hand picking the grapes followed by traditional foot maceration in lagers to enhance the wine's flavor profile.

Quinta do Tedo Ruby Port offers a taste experience characterized by deep shades of plum and ruby, aromas of wild strawberries, raspberries, black cherries and a subtle hint of orange peel. On the palate, it presents a rich body with soft but present tannins, culminating in a long and lasting finish.
