Quinta do Tedo LBV 2015 is made from traditional port grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermentation takes place in traditional "lagares" with manual treading, which ensures intensive contact of the skins with the must. The wine is then aged in oak barrels for four to six years, which contributes to its complexity and rich taste profile ( Quinta do Tedo ) .
Color: The wine has a deep ruby color that indicates its intense flavor characteristics.
Nose: The nose is rich and complex, with notes of black fruits such as blackcurrant and blackberry, complemented by subtle hints of chocolate, spice and wood.
Taste: On the palate, the wine is full and harmonious, with flavors of ripe black fruit, chocolate and subtle notes of spice and vanilla. The wine has a long and rich finish that leaves a pleasant mouthfeel.
