Pura Vida XO is a premium rum from Costa Rica, created by the French company Les Bienheureux, also known under the brand name El Pasador de Oro. This rum is a unique blend of three bases: pure sugar cane juice, molasses and cane honey, which gives it a unique flavor profile.
The entire production process takes place in Costa Rica, from cane harvesting through fermentation, distillation to initial tropical maturation in bourbon barrels. After initial maturation in Costa Rica, the rum is transported to France, where it matures in old cognac barrels, which contributes to its characteristic flavor.
Aroma: Complex and aromatic, with notes of ripe tropical fruit, vanilla and a hint of spice.
Taste: Rich and balanced, with hints of caramelized sugar, dried fruit and a subtle earthiness.
Finish: Smooth and long-lasting, with a subtle spiciness and a warm, oaky finish.
The name "Pura Vida" reflects the Costa Rican motto, which means "Enjoy Life". The rum is presented in an elegant decanter with sustainable packaging made from recycled pulp, emphasizing its luxurious and ecological character.
