This rum is part of the limited edition Planteray Single Cask, making it a true collector's item. Each bottle carries a unique story - from the careful selection of the cask to the precise maturation that gives the drink its unmistakable character.
The rum was distilled in 2012 at the Spanish Azucarera del Guadalfeo Distillery and then aged in barrels – first for 11 years and 4 months in bourbon barrels, then for 8 months in selected Pedro Ximénez Sherry barrels.
On the nose it opens with a sweet blend of candied orange peel, dried figs and honey notes, complemented by a soft touch of vanilla and toasted oak. On the tongue it reveals rich flavours of caramel, spices and toasted nuts, with a long, elegant finish.
