Plantation Barbados 2011 is distilled from the best sugarcane molasses grown on the sunny plantations of Barbados. After fermentation, rum goes through traditional distillation in copper cauldrons, which ensures its purity and rich taste. The rum is then aged for 7 years in the tropical climate of Barbados in American white oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. This process gives the rum deep notes of vanilla, caramel and oak.

After this initial aging, the rum is transported to France, where it undergoes another 2 years of aging in Ferrand cognac barrels. This dual aging process in two different climates gives the rum unique and complex flavor profiles, including subtle fruity and spicy notes.
