Apple spirit from Normandy in France. This is specifically the area of Calvados, which is typical for its rocky coast and it is in this place that the Spanish ship "El Calvador" was wrecked a long time ago and the area was named after the ship.
The production of calvados consists in the use of up to 50 types of apples, and thus individual distillates from different producers retain their uniqueness. The delicious Pére Magloire XO was aged for at least 15 years. The taste is sweet after apple and caramel, and in the background you can feel soft tobacco tones. The manufacturer recommends drinking it with doses of cloves and black pepper.
