Founded in 1794, Oban Distillery is one of Scotland's oldest distilleries. It is located in the town of Oban on the west coast of Scotland. This distillery is known for its traditional whiskey making methods, including the use of external cooling coils.
Oban The Distillers Edition 2021 is distilled in 2007 and bottled in 2021. After primary aging in American oak casks, the whiskey is additionally aged in Montilla Fino sherry casks. This process gives the whiskey a depth and complexity not common in standard releases.
