Naud Ron Venezuela 12 Year Old is a premium rum from Venezuela, created in collaboration between the French distillery Naud and the Venezuelan Destilería Sofa. This rum is distilled from molasses, known as "black gold", which comes from the fertile areas near Caracas. After fermentation, the molasses is distilled in column stills.
Color: Amber with mahogany highlights.
Aroma: Subtle notes of caramel and muscovado sugar, with hints of coconut, cedar wood and oak, resulting from aging in ex-bourbon barrels in tropical conditions.
Taste: Silky and structured, with notes of pastries, roasted coffee beans and fig jam. The finish is persistent, with subtle spices (cinnamon, nutmeg) and vanilla, which are the result of additional maturation in French oak barrels.
