Gin from fresh spruce shoots. Fresh sprouts with macka, edible, have a pleasant sour taste because they contain ascorbic acid. The harvesting period for spruce shoots is short, as they start to become woody after a few weeks and the woody shoots are no longer edible.
This spruce gin is suitable to drink with tonic or can be an ingredient in various original cocktails.
