Mezcal Zignum Joven is a premium mezcal made from 100% Espadín agave in the Oaxaca region of Mexico. This young (joven) mezcal is known for its clean and delicate taste, which differs from traditional mezcals by its minimal smokiness, which allows the natural flavors of the agave to shine through.
Zignum Joven is produced using sustainable methods. The agave hearts (piñas) are first slowly steamed, instead of traditional smoking, which ensures a clean taste without smoky notes. After cooking, the agave is fermented and distilled in copper stills, which contributes to the smooth and clean taste of the final product.
