Metaxu Private Reserve is produced every year by the master distiller from Metaxu, who selects well-aged presses of Greek brandy from the extensive cellars. He then blends them to create Metaxa Private Reserve.
Aroma: Dark chocolate dipped in honey, coffee beans, light floral notes and rich oak.
Taste: Musty cigar box, figs, raisins and orange peel.
Finish: Long finish with a touch of smoke.
Overall impression: Intensely pleasant from the smell to the finish.
