Matsui The Matsui Mizunara Single Malt is an exceptional Japanese whiskey that comes from the Matsui Shuzo distillery in Tottori Prefecture. Founded in 1910, this distillery uses pure spring water from Mount Daisen, which flows through the volcanic rocks and gives the whiskey its unique mineral profile.
The whiskey is aged in Japanese Mizunara oak barrels, which are known for their complexity and rarity. This type of wood gives the whiskey a unique combination of flavors that are typical for Japanese whiskey. Distillation and maturation take place in the natural environment of Tottori Prefecture, which contributes to the smooth and rich taste of this whisky.
The bottle is decorated with the artwork of Katsushika Hokusai's "Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji," which adds to its aesthetic value.
