Marqués de Vargas Selección Privada is an excellent red wine from Rioja, particularly known for its limited production and made only in the best vintages. This wine, originally intended only for consumption directly in the winery, comes from the oldest vineyards that have been officially recognized as "Viñedo Singular" due to the unique characteristics of the terroir.
Selección Privada 2015, rated 94 points, offers rich aromas of blackcurrant, raspberry and dark chocolate, complemented by notes of violet and clove, making the wine deeply aromatic and full on the palate with a luxurious feel. The wine is aged in French oak barrels, which add elegant spicy and balsamic notes, enhancing the refined character of the wine without overshadowing the fruity notes.
