The whiskey matured in a selection of ex-sherry American and European oak casks and subsequently also in ex-bourbon American oak casks. It thus captures the unique bready, sweet and rich character of whisky.
The artist Nini Sum participated in the design of the gift box and the overall visual of the bottle, and in this edition she captured the feeling of returning home to celebrate the New Year, a time when we can leave the busy rhythm of life and replace it with a feeling of peace, hope and warmth. New Year is celebrated by millions of people around the world in different cultures. Nini's fondest memories of New Year's are the loud, bright fireworks in the night sky and the lanterns her neighbors used as welcome signs that brought life to her street. She really managed to capture these moments.
The aroma of whiskey is dominated by vanilla, baked apple, baked cookies, plum and almonds. The soft, velvety sweet flavor is reminiscent of shortbread, vanilla sweetness, with lightly toasted marshmallow, dried orange, fig and cinnamon. The final taste is sweet caramel with freshly baked cookies.
