Five Roses je historicky prvé talianske ružové víno, ktoré sa začalo fľašovať a exportovať (od roku 1943). Názov „Five Roses“ pochádza z časti vinice, ktorá patrila rodine Leone de Castris, kde sa viac generácií opakovalo priezvisko s piatimi deťmi – preto „päť ruží“.
Farba: Jasná rubínovo-ružová až čerešňová farba
Vôňa: Intenzívna, ovocná, s tónmi červeného ovocia (maliny, jahody, čerešne), doplnená o jemné kvetinové a bylinné nuansy
Chuť: Svieža, harmonická a dobre vyvážená. V chuti dominujú červené bobuľové plody, jemná minerálnosť a príjemná kyselinka. Dochuť je stredne dlhá, ovocná a osviežujúca.
Hodí sa k morským plodom, grilovaným rybám, cestovinám s ľahšími omáčkami, rizotu, ale aj k šalátom či stredomorskej kuchyni.Výborne doplní aj ľahké mäsové jedlá a syry.
