Krug 1998 Brut is an exceptional vintage champagne from the renowned Krug house, known for its elegance, complexity and long aging. This champagne was created to celebrate the exceptional quality of the Chardonnay grape from that vintage, a rarity in the house of Krug as Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier usually dominate.
Krug 1998 Brut is known as "Hommage au Chardonnay" and represents only the second vintage since 1981 where Chardonnay dominates the wine. This champagne is an excellent choice for immediate consumption, but has the potential to age and improve until 2038.
