Did you know that the label "Estonian Vodka" is a protected geographical indication? This is due to the fact that the history and processing methods of Estonian vodka are diametrically different from the production of e.g. traditional Russian vodkas.
JJ Kurberg Rye Malt Vodka was created by slow distillation according to the recipe of pharmacologist JJ Kurberg from winter RYE MALT and karst Estonian waters. In addition to rye malt, the basic raw material is the rare SANGASTE rye, which is the oldest type of rye in the world, which is currently grown and processed exclusively by hand. Thanks to the rye malt, the vodka is extremely delicate, but its delicacy is also due to the authentic Estonian processing method from the second half of the 18th century.
