Diplomático Selección de Familia is a premium rum from Venezuela that was created as a special project where master blenders carefully selected specific barrels to create a blend that uniquely embodies the style of the Diplomático house and their long tradition of rum production in the region.
It is aged in a combination of American oak barrels, ex-bourbon barrels, They give the rum notes of vanilla, caramel and subtle woody nuances, which contribute to its sweetness and depth, and the sherry casks, which enriches the rum with fruity and spicy notes such as dried fruit, raisins, figs and hints of ginger, increasing its complexity and aromatic richness. This selection of casks was chosen with the aim of achieving a rich and complex flavour profile.
