Venezuelan 8-year-old rum is distilled in 3 steps. It is then aged for 8 years in American oak barrels.
It is slightly darker in color than the well-known Reserva Exclusiva. On the nose you can smell fine dried plums and the response of wood from the barrel.
The taste is drier but at the same time very complex.
