Daniel Boujou Royal matures in Limousin barrels. It is bottled in cask strength and is unfiltered.
Nose: delicious, with dried apricots, very ripe almost candied red berries. Soft notes of orange marmalade and licorice root. A beautiful bouquet with a touch of mint freshness.
Palate: opulent and aromatic, it allows a multitude of flavors to explode with stunning freshness. Softness with a touch of brown sugar that reveals notes of licorice and dark chocolate with black cherries. Woody notes reminiscent of chestnut honey intertwine with an underlying caramel delicacy. A spicy twist of cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg and black pepper.
