Daniel Bouju Gin de Charente is a premium gin from the Charente region of France, known for its excellent cognacs. This gin is distilled using the traditional method in copper stills and then aged for 3 to 4 months in cognac barrels, which gives it a unique and smooth character.
Botanical ingredients: The gin contains a balanced blend of quality botanical ingredients such as juniper, coriander, angelica, cardamom, cinnamon, orris root, and Charentais melon. These ingredients contribute to a harmonious flavor profile with subtle floral and citrus notes.
Taste profile: On the nose, the gin is fresh, with dominant notes of juniper, citrus and cardamom, complemented by floral and lime accents. It's rich and elegant on the palate, with spicy notes of nutmeg and pepper that lead to a soft woody finish.
Gin de Charente is packaged in small batches and each bottle is individually numbered, which increases its exclusivity. This gin is ideal for enjoying on its own or as part of premium cocktails, where its complex flavors can best stand out.
