Clés des Ducs Armagnac 1985 is one of those exceptional representatives of the traditional French spirit, delivering complex and elegant flavors. This Armagnac is produced in the Gers region of southwestern France, which is known for its history and craftsmanship.
Unlike conventional cognac production, Armagnac is distilled in a traditional distillation device – the Armagnac still (column distillation), which ensures that the drink has a richer and fuller taste. This process is slower and allows for more layers of flavors to develop.
The grapes are fermented and then distilled in one stage, creating a very strong and complex distillate that is aged in French oak barrels.
This Armagnac is aged for 40 years . After a long period of maturation in traditional oak barrels, this drink acquires intense and balanced aromas that persist in the taste.
