Cenote Añejo is made from 100% Weber blue agave, grown in fertile fields in the Mexican state of Jalisco. After being harvested by hand, the agave hearts (piñas) are slowly baked in traditional brick ovens, allowing the rich and natural flavors to develop. After baking, the agaves are ground and the juice is fermented in stainless steel tanks using specially selected yeast. Double distillation in copper stills guarantees the purity and delicacy of tequila. Finally, Cenote Añejo is aged for a minimum of 12 months in American oak barrels, which gives it a complex flavor with subtle notes of vanilla, caramel, wood and spice. The production process is complemented by the use of mineral water from deep wells, which contributes to the unique taste and purity of this tequila.
