Chlebovica by BVD is a real grain distillate made from rye bread, which is known for its unique production process. This distillate is the result of long-term experiments that combine two traditional Slovak crafts: baking and the production of distillates. The key feature of Chlebovice is its production from selected rye bread, where high carbohydrate contents are combined with baking techniques, which gives the distillate a rich caramel undertone. Distillation takes place over several hours and the distillate itself matures for at least six months, which allows it to acquire a softer and more balanced taste. Chlebovica is a celebration of traditional techniques and a modern approach to the use of local ingredients, which makes it truly unique on the market.
