Barceló Imperial is matured in American oak barrels that previously contained bourbon. During its maturation, it acquires the rich, smooth and complex flavor profile that is characteristic of this rum. The maturation in barrels gives the rum its signature notes of vanilla, oak, spices and subtle caramel nuances, which are perfectly balanced.
