Aerstone Sea Cask, a 10 year old single malt whiskey from Ailsa Bay Distillery, comes from William Grant. Thanks to the aging process in warehouses by the sea on the Ayrshire coast in Scotland, it beautifully captures the marine notes.
Aroma: caramel, creamy vanilla, freshly baked bread, honey malt, orange citrus and a touch of cinnamon and cocoa.
Palate: floral malt, nougat, vanilla biscuit and more honey with orange sweets, powdered sugar and earthy oak.
Finish: notes of cloves, candied lemon and vanilla bean, with a pinch of salt in the finish.
