Signatory Vintage Miltonduff 10yo The Un-Chillfiltered Collection 2009

Miltonduff Distillery is often overlooked as a single malt, but we're big fans of their whisky. Especially when aged in bourbon barrels. This is also the case with the 11-year-old whiskey Signatory Miltonduff 2009, which was created in two bourbon barrels. These were bottled by none other than a prominent and respected name in the world of independent whiskey bottlers: Signatory Vintage.

Aroma: orange peel, tea with milk, sweet pastries, dried raisins

Taste: peanuts, apricots, hints of oak, meadow flowers

Finish: lemon, vanilla, black pepper

Although Signatory Vintage are not the oldest independent bottlers in Scotland, they have managed to build an extremely good reputation among connoisseurs of quality single malt whisky. They are especially known for their Non-Chillfiltered and Cask Strength editions, which offer the opportunity to taste whiskey in one of its most natural forms. Signator were also one of the first independent bottlers to purchase their own distillery, offering an ever-expanding range of some of the most artisanal whiskeys available on the market.
